About
I'm Dana Nixon, a Creative Director and graphic designer rooted from a small town near Pittsburgh, but have become quite fond of Texas heat, tacos, and the occasional cowboy boot. I currently make things in my home office for *Trace Element with a résumé that includes stints at RBMM (the design arm of The Richards Group), Fossil Headquarters and The Brand Hatchery. I also served a 5 year term on the board of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC), and this year, I have the honor of serving as the 67th President.
With a background in graphic design and business marketing, I'm a design nerd with great respect for entrepreneurs. A guilty pleasure is binge-watching Shark Tank. When I’m not in design mode, my husband Zach, our bulldog Brisket and I enjoy watching action movies and eating guacamole, especially at the same time.
