ABOUT
I'm Dana Nixon, a Creative Director and graphic designer rooted from a small town near Pittsburgh, but have become quite fond of Texas weather and tacos. I currently make things in my home office for *Trace Element with a résumé that includes stints at RBMM (the design arm of The Richards Group), Fossil Headquarters and The Brand Hatchery. I served a five-year term on the Board of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC), culminating in my service as the organization’s 67th President. I now serve on the Board as Immediate Past President.
With a background in graphic design and business marketing, I'm a design nerd with great respect for entrepreneurs. A guilty pleasure is binge-watching Shark Tank. When I’m not in design mode, my husband Zach, our bulldog Brisket and I enjoy watching action movies and eating guacamole, especially at the same time.
